Crossing the safety barrier at a red light
According to the police, a witness is said to have stated that the girl crossed the road at a pedestrian crossing. However, the traffic light for pedestrians was red, while the light for the streetcar was green.
The driver suffered a shock and was also taken to hospital. She is also being looked after by Wiener Linien's crisis intervention team. Lines 6, 11 and 14A had to be diverted for the rescue work.
