Darts teenager Luke Littler has cleared the next hurdle on the way to his desired first World Championship title at the World Championship in London. 

The 17-year-old Englishman clearly defeated Nathan Aspinall (also England) 5-2 in the quarter-finals in the evening and now only needs two more wins to win the Sid Waddell Trophy and around 600,000 euros in prize money.

The semi-final pairings
In the semi-finals on Thursday, Littler and Stephen Bunting and Michael van Gerwen and Chris Dobey will face each other.

The dream final between Littler and three-time World Champion Van Gerwen, which many experts and fans have been longing for, is therefore still possible.
