Salzburg Airport is continuing to convert the power supply for aircraft on the ground and is focusing on sustainability. Eight all-electric power units are now available.

The units provide a fully electronic power supply for on-board electronics, air conditioning and other systems. The aircraft engines do not have to run.

"We are the first airport in Austria to be able to realize two thirds of our power supply for aircraft on the ground fully electrically. This reduces fuel consumption and emissions," says Nicolas Karres from Station Management at the airport.

Renting the equipment from HiSERV is an ideal solution, especially during busy periods in the winter months.
