Public transport construction sites: What passengers can expect

There will be no respite for public transport customers in 2025 either - hard times are ahead. A number of construction sites and restrictions are once again on the Wiener Linien timetable. The "Krone" has the first details of the new plans.

The old year will soon be coming to an end, but the modernization offensive including construction sites at Wiener Linien continues. Public transport riders will need a lot of patience and good nerves in the new year, that much is certain. 11.1 kilometers of new tracks and 47 switches for the streetcar network are on the agenda for next year (see graphic).
