A mild judgment

“If I don’t get love, I get angry”

Christian S. was considered "conspicuous" from childhood. Initially he committed burglary and theft crimes, later countless atrocities against animals. Most recently, two dead men were found in his apartment in Vienna. "But I'm not a murderer," the mentally disturbed man insists.

It was in October 2021 when an unpleasant smell began to spread in a municipal building in Vienna-Penzing. Some residents initially thought that a rat had perhaps strayed into the house and died in a corridor or in the basement.

But searches for an animal carcass were unsuccessful. And the stench got worse and worse, eventually becoming almost unbearable. So the tenants decided to alert the police.
