After 1.44 million polling cards cost local authorities a lot of money and effort, they are calling for the option of e-voting. "Yes, but ...", says "Krone" cyber expert Dr. Cornelius Granig - and warns against manipulation. 

Many things can get in the way on election Sunday. A long-planned vacation, a visit to friends and relatives in other federal states. Or simply not feeling like getting dressed and going to the polling station. A circumstance that led to the introduction of polling cards back in 2007.
