Dogs attacked each other: owner injured

Two dogs got into a fight in the garden of a pub in Großklein in southern Styria on Saturday afternoon. When the owners tried to separate the fighting animals, they were bitten and had to be taken to hospital.

Early on Saturday afternoon, a couple from Linz visited the garden of a restaurant in Großklein (Leibnitz district) with their dog. Another dog that was already there probably felt challenged and charged at the "newcomer". 

The two dogs, a German shepherd and a Labrador, attacked each other, forcing the owners to separate them. According to the police, both the couple from Linz and the 54-year-old owner of the other four-legged friend were bitten.

All three dog owners were taken to hospital with minor injuries. The dogs also suffered minor injuries from the fight.
