South Korea: North Korea can build many nuclear weapons

A South Korean member of parliament has raised eyebrows with a worrying assessment: North Korea is in possession of enough plutonium and uranium to build at least a double-digit number of nuclear weapons. 

Lee Seong-kweun, a member of the parliamentary intelligence committee, referred to information from the South Korean secret service on Thursday. According to this information, it is also possible that North Korea will carry out a seventh nuclear test after the US presidential elections on November 5.

USA: North Korea possesses 50 nuclear warheads
In July, US scientists concluded in a report that North Korea may have enough material to build up to 90 nuclear warheads and that the country had assembled around 50.
