Prince Harry calls on US citizens to vote

Prince Harry has never voted in his life: Nevertheless, he and his wife Meghan have published a message to all unregistered voters in the USA via his Archewell Foundation for National Voter Registration Day on September 17. 

In the statement, which was published on the foundation's website, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex emphasize the importance of voting and encourage active participation in the upcoming elections in November.

"Influencing destiny"
"Voting is not just a right, but a fundamental way to influence the destiny of our communities," the message reads. To back up these words, Archewell gave an insight into their campaign: the team sent out personalized letters to unregistered voters to motivate them to register and participate in the elections.

Little experience with elections
Although Prince Harry has little experience of voting at the age of 40 - the royal family traditionally does not vote in elections in the UK and he is not eligible to vote in the USA - his life in California seems to have made him more politically active.

Harry and Meghan have already campaigned for social issues in the USA on several occasions and used their reach to spread important messages.
