Fatal accident on tour with Harley-Davidson

The tour with his Harley-Davidson ended fatally for a biker (49) from Salzburg. He left the road on a bend in Neukirchen near Altmünster (Upper Austria) and crashed into a tree. A cyclist found the dying man, for whom all help came too late.

On Wednesday afternoon, a 49-year-old man from Salzburg was riding his Harley-Davidson on the L544 from Steinbach am Attersee in the direction of Altmünster. The man left the road in a tight right-hand bend in the Neukirchen area of the municipality of Altmünster and crashed into a tree.

Resuscitation was unsuccessful
The man remained lying under his motorcycle and was noticed by a passing cyclist at around 5 pm. Other first aiders arrived shortly afterwards. They immediately began resuscitation until the emergency services arrived. However, the emergency doctor was only able to determine the 49-year-old's death a short time later.
