And yet another new trend in tourism: "coolcation". More and more holidaymakers are choosing cool destinations as their vacation destination instead of the usual warm south. What's behind the heat-free change, which places are perfect for "coolcation" and what does Austria have to offer? We have taken a look.

After overtourism and the like, "coolcation" is now the new English term in tourism, which will unfortunately be heard more often in the future due to climate change - "cool" for cool and "vacation" for vacation. After all, although a vacation in the warmth is nice for most people, as soon as temperatures rise to 40 degrees, there is a shortage of water and fires break out, the joy is quickly over.
