Sturm have landed a great goalkeeping talent in Daniil Khudyakov. The 20-year-old, who trained with the team for the first time on Tuesday, already holds a Russian goalkeeping record. The youngster from Lok Moscow is considered to have extremely strong nerves and was one of the top three soccer talents in the world two years ago.

With first-choice goalkeeper Guilherme out injured, Daniil Khudyakov's time suddenly came on November 21, 2021. As a 17-year-old youngster, he kept goal for Lok Moscow in the Europa League against Lazio Roma (0:3). A historic day: the new Sturm keeper is still the youngest Russian goalkeeper to play in the European Cup.
