Lake Klopein: 3 e-bikes stolen from vacationers

You have to spend several thousand euros to buy an e-bike. Of course, e-bikers secure their bikes with good locks, but that doesn't necessarily deter thieves. Like at Lake Klopeiner See, where three motorized bikes were stolen.

On Sunday morning, the e-bike of a Styrian woman (62) was stolen from a meadow parking lot of a hotel in St. Kanzian. The perpetrators had broken the lock. Thousands of euros worth of damage.

Around lunchtime, the same perpetrators presumably struck at the parking lot of a lido on Lake Klopein: an Upper Austrian (54) had parked his car there, where two e-bikes had been secured with car carrier locks. This vacationer complained of damage in the low five-figure range.
