Breakdown helper frees child from locked car

A breakdown mechanic rushed to the aid of a heavily pregnant woman and her son. The toddler was locked in the car. 

A brief moment of inattention and it had already happened. Mrs. O. had just parked at the kindergarten in Schulstraße in Amstetten and got out of the car to get her little son from the back seat. In the meantime - in just a few seconds - the boy grabbed the car key. At the push of a button, the central locking system automatically locked all the doors of the car.

The mother tried in vain from outside to explain to her son how he could unlock the car again. Pure stress for the heavily pregnant woman. She finally called the ÖAMTC.

Thunderous applause for the breakdown mechanic
Breakdown mechanic Manuel Grünsteidl was able to open the car within a few minutes using a special trick - and received a roar of applause from the excited teachers and kindergarten children. "That was a wonderful moment," said the Yellow Angel happily.
