Unconscious to hospital

Touched by mirror: Boy (6) hit by car

At the weekend, a six-year-old boy was hit on the head and injured by the side mirror of a passing car in Brunn im Gebirge in the district of Mödling (Lower Austria). 

The boy's father had let him out of a car in the Brunn am Gebirge area on Saturday afternoon. The six-year-old went to the rear of the car and wanted to cross the road. The boy was hit on the head by the side mirror of a passing car, the police reported in a press release.

Flown unconscious to hospital
The child suffered injuries to his head and lost consciousness. He was flown to Vienna-Donaustadt Hospital by the Martin 5 rescue helicopter.
