Baby cat rescued from burning waste plant

During firefighting operations at a burning garbage plant in Traiskirchen (Lower Austria), a firefighter discovered a helpless feral kitten. It had probably been left behind by its parents in the burning building.

Last Sunday evening, the warehouse of a waste company in Traiskirchen in the district of Baden caught fire. Several fire departments battled the flames - the "Krone" reported. 

A kitten that had to witness the devastating fire up close was lucky in misfortune. Firefighter Roman Gärtner from the Oeynhausen volunteer fire department discovered the foundling by chance during the extinguishing work. The kitten had obviously been left behind by its parents.

A new start for a kitten
The little wildling was brought to safety by the courageous Floriani and has now found a loving new home with a fire department family from Tribuswinkel after a veterinary examination.
