Vienna police put a bounty on this man’s head

The Vienna police are looking for a man who allegedly robbed a supermarket in Vienna-Donaustadt at the end of December. The man is said to have threatened two employees with a handgun after closing time and robbed them of cash. The suspect has not yet been caught. Mugshots have been published. There is a reward of 5,000 euros for useful information!

The incident took place on December 21 last year in Süßenbrunner Straße. The suspect - estimated to be around 25 to 30 years old - is said to have threatened two employees with a weapon and then robbed money from the branch office.

"Despite extensive search measures, the fugitive suspect was able to escape. The Vienna State Office of Criminal Investigation immediately launched further investigations", reported police spokesman Philipp Haßlinger on Tuesday.

The Association of Friends of the Vienna Police then offered a sum of 5000 euros to help find and convict the suspect.

Personal description

Male, 25-30 years old, approx. 175-180 cm tall, medium build, light skin tone, dark hair

• Language: German
• Clothing: Baseball cap, black trousers, dark hooded sweater/jacket
• Mask: on the run with a white FFP2 mask
• Carrying case: white carrier bag with black handles - inscription: probably "RTS!"
• Armament: black pistol

Pictures of the suspected perpetrator have now been published. "Witnesses who noticed the suspect before, during or after his escape are asked to contact the police," says Haßlinger.
