After a crash: three cars damaged, one injured

An accident involving three damaged vehicles occurred in Gaaden in the district of Mödling (Lower Austria) on Sunday. The driver suffered injuries of indeterminate severity.

At around 4 a.m., the Gaaden volunteer fire department was alerted to a traffic accident on Sittendorferstraße. A driver lost control of his car on a left-hand bend and crashed into two cars parked there.

The force of the impact caused considerable material damage to all three vehicles. The wheel suspensions on two of the cars were even torn out. The driver was injured in the crash and taken to hospital by the ambulance service.

The firefighters used tow rollers to push the wrecked vehicles to suitable parking areas in order to clear both the road and the sidewalk for traffic. Six members of the Gaaden fire brigade were on duty for two hours.
