Man harasses woman, is later hit by train

There was a serious altercation between several train passengers in Stuttgart. After an alleged sexual harassment, several eyewitnesses confronted a 22-year-old man and scuffles broke out. A short time later, the suspect fell onto the tracks and was hit by a train set.

According to the police, the incident took place on Sunday night. The 22-year-old is said to have kissed and touched a woman (25) several times against her will during the journey. This is said to have led to an argument between the 22-year-old and several other passengers.

The young man, who is said to be Tunisian, got off the train but was pursued by the passengers. The scuffle therefore continued on the platform in Stuttgart-Österfeld. Suddenly, the 22-year-old fell onto the track bed, it is said.

Part of the arm severed
An incoming train hit the fallen man and seriously injured him. According to Südwestrundfunk, part of his arm was severed. The police are currently analyzing the footage from the surveillance cameras to reconstruct the incident in detail. They are investigating both sexual harassment and grievous bodily harm.
