On Thursday, Liu Jia once again took center stage as the torchbearer for the 2024 Olympic Games. However, her time as an active athlete has come to an end and the end of her career seems to be sealed. What she says about her marriage, her legacy and the trauma of missing out on qualification for Paris - the Krone visited "Susi" at home in Linz. 

David is chopping vegetables, Anna is mixing the dough and the lady of the house is sitting comfortably on the table watching. "That's better. She doesn't touch anything else in the kitchen," David winks at the "Krone". It's a terribly nice family we're staying with and it's fun to listen to the banter.
