Ermacora out for weeks with knee injury!

Beach volleyball player Martin Ermacora suffered a torn patella tendon in his knee on Friday at the Masters of the Austrian Pro Tour in Neusiedl and will be out for several weeks. 

His partner Philipp Waller had to take a forced break of several weeks last fall due to a chest injury.

"Injury comes at a bad time, of course!
"Of course, the injury comes at a bad time. Nevertheless, I am confident that I will be back on court with Pippo at the Challenger in Poland (note: end of May) at the latest. It should definitely be possible to compete in the Olympic qualifiers in mid-June," said Ermacora, who received the diagnosis on Saturday.
