World Championships 2028 or 2029
Biathlon: Hochfilzen against Kontiolahti and Oslo!

Hochfilzen in Tyrol officially has two opponents in its bid to host the 2028 or 2029 Biathlon World Championships!
Kontiolahti in Finland and Oslo have also applied for these two years.
Kontiolahti last hosted the titles in 2015, Oslo in 2016 and Hochfilzen in 2017.
Decision will be made at the congress in Belgrade
The decision will be made at the International Biathlon Union (IBU) Congress in Belgrade from September 26 to 29.
