What you need to know about holiday work

Everyone starts small: Once again this year, around 100,000 young people are doing a holiday job, for many it is their first salary ever. The "Krone" shows which sectors have the most vacancies and what trainees need to bear in mind.

Some get jobs through acquaintances or are placed in the family business, but you can also find something via job exchanges. The jobs are spread all over Austria, and companies in rural regions can also make good use of short-term jobs from time to time.
