"We see it every time"
Are Sturm Graz sending spies to Rapid training?
In the course of the three-way duel between Rapid and Sturm Graz, there is apparently a particularly interested spectator at the Hütteldorfer training sessions. As coach Robert Klauß told us with a smile on Tuesday, the Styrians have apparently recently sent an observer to the sessions at the training center in the second district.
"Sturm Graz are present at every one of our training sessions anyway. They try to spy on us with spies, we see them every time anyway and then send them away again. So they'll know who's on the pitch anyway," said Klauß. Apparently, a person was often posted on a higher parking garage floor of an adjacent shopping center. The Rapid training pitches can be seen from there. "We always wave up in a friendly manner," said Klauß.
Ilzer reacts
Rumors that Sturm could be spying on Rapid had already surfaced around the first showdown between the two clubs last Friday. Coach Christian Ilzer said with a grin: "On Monday, I will receive a perfectly prepared analysis plan about the opponent. We also have a video database. Those are the two sources we use in particular."
