Six kilos of narcotics

Dealer raised 211 cannabis plants

Investigations by the criminal investigation department and Reifnitz police went on for months and have now resulted in a confession and a charge: A 36-year-old woman from the district of Klagenfurt-Land had been running an indoor cannabis plantation and selling the narcotic drug.

During a house search in her currently unoccupied building, officers discovered 211 cannabis plants in an indoor plantation. In the woman's apartment in Klagenfurt, they found around four kilos of cannabis, packaging material typical of the scene, two laptops, two digital scales, a grinder and several cell phones.

The 36-year-old confessed. From May 2023 until now, she had grown cannabis three times and extracted around 5.7 kilos of the narcotic drug. From September of the previous year to the beginning of April 2024, she had sold around 1.8 kilos of cannabis for profit.

By order of the public prosecutor's office, the dealer will be released.
