Green “dream villa” partly in yellow hazard zone

The hazard zone plan of the province of Tyrol shows it very clearly: the property of Green municipal councillor Janine Bex in Innsbruck is threatened by the forces of nature. However, the building permit issued by Mayor Georg Willi makes no reference to this. Explosive: Up to now, the Green Party has strictly rejected building applications such as Bex's. 

The Province of Tyrol's hazard zone plan depicts the current state of flood risk and shows which areas will be flooded in the event of a 100-year flood event.

"It is therefore the basis for flood protection measures, spatial planning, construction and disaster management," explains the Water Management Department of the Province of Tyrol.
