15 youths attacked 2 Romanians in Dornbirn
A whole gang of youths carried out a rather cowardly act on Tuesday evening in Dornbirn (Vorarlberg). Two Romanian men were first approached by two girls and then abused by the gang.
On Tuesday evening, two girls approached two Romanian men aged 32 and 35 in the center of Dornbirn - near Europapassage. Suddenly a group of around 15 youths aged between 15 and 20 stormed towards the men. The boys with a migrant background started beating up the two men.
The brawl eventually moved onto Markstraße. There, the youths kicked the Romanians to the ground and attacked them with bottles and chairs. The 32-year-old victim suffered several hematomas and lacerations to his head and face. The 35-year-old was seriously injured by a cut to his neck. According to the attending physician, the artery was missed by only three millimeters.
Witnesses wanted, investigation underway
After the attack, the gang fled on foot. However, one of the suspects was caught by the police and has already been questioned about the incident. The police are now looking for witnesses to the incident. Anyone who observed anything suspicious should please contact the Dornbirn police station.
