Topalovic celebrates comeback in the Premier League

After winning the bronze medal in the Series A in Cyprus, Lejla Topalovic is back in the highest category in Antalya. She wants to cause a sensation again at the Premier League in Turkey. She will be joined by Marina Vukovic and Stefan Pokorny at the second stop in the highest category.

The last Premier League start for karateka Lejla Topalovic (up to 61 kilograms) was a long time ago. She was unsuccessful in the Irish capital Dublin. This was followed by the World Championships in Hungary in October before she was forced to take a break due to injury.

In February, she made a brilliant return in the second-highest category and won the bronze medal at the Series A. She thus moved back into the top 32 in the world and is allowed to compete in Antalya (Tur) this weekend.

Two more Salzburgers in the mix
In addition to comebacker Topalovic, Marina Vukovic (up to 68 kilograms) and Stefan Pokorny (up to 75 kilograms) will also be competing from Salzburg. For the Pinzgau native, the last Series A stop did not go according to plan. She finished in eleventh place without a win. The Kuchler, on the other hand, recently competed in the Premier League in Paris, where he was eliminated in the group stage after questionable decisions by the referees.
