Carinthia's ice hockey lower division is in the hot phase with the Division I final. In the lower divisions, six clubs have already been crowned champions. The "Krone" presents them in a separate series. In the Lower Division East I, the Reifnitz Trouts took the title in the final against Spartans Althofen.

It was the third title in a row for the Reifnitz Trouts. And probably the most difficult. Because this year's Unterliga Ost I was stronger than in recent years. In the basic round, the eventual champions finished second behind Tarco Klagenfurt II and then had to play the Lendhafen Seelöwen in the semi-finals. An early final. "We were inhibited, had too much respect for them because we really wanted to beat them," says chairman Andi Schmidhofer.
