New signing not allowed to play – Tuchel gives reason
FC Bayern transferred 13 million euros to Granada to bring Bryan Zaragoza to the Isar. However, the left winger has only made one brief appearance so far, and Thomas Tuchel explained the reason for this at the press conference for the upcoming Bundesliga match against Mainz.
"Bryan lacks the language. It's difficult in English and German. We brought the transfer forward to gain time because we didn't know how long Coman and Gnabry would be out for," explained the German record champions' coach on Friday.
"Too early to make a judgment"
The 50-year-old was well aware that it would be a difficult step to integrate the Spaniard into the team, but he also knew Zaragoza's qualities. "We will give him time. It's far too early to make a judgment," said Tuchel.
