Shirt from sexy water scene
The six-part BBC TV series, which was based on the novel by Jane Austen and published in 1995, is a cult hit in the UK. Firth played Mr. Darcy in it. In one scene, he jumped into a lake clothed, swam through the water, then trudged across a meadow with a wet top and met Elizabeth Bennet, played by Jennifer Ehle.
Johnny Depp, Madonna & Barrymore's iconic costumes
A costume worn by Hollywood star Johnny Depp from the horror film "Sleepy Hollow" by director Tim Burton fetched 24,000 pounds.
A dress worn by musician Madonna during the filming of "Evita" fetched 40,000 pounds, while Drew Barrymore's dress from the Cinderella film "Forever and Ever" went under the hammer for 16,000 pounds.
The buyer will have to pay additional fees. The proceeds will be used to support a foundation for cultural education set up by Oscar-winning costume designer John Bright.
