Why a pig farmer is celebrating success with tofu
Low in calories, delicious when prepared correctly and a protein bomb: the Knittelfelder couple from Eastern Styria have recognized a trend, perfected it and are now on the road to success with the superfood tofu. Why this is not a contradiction in terms for the pig farmers.
Tofu - many people don't even know what to make of the term, for them it's neither fish nor meat, so to speak, and admittedly it doesn't even taste particularly good in its "natural state". "But refined, it tastes all the better", laughs Christoph Knittelfelder and serves us the proof: tofu briefly fried in pumpkin breadcrumbs - a real experience for the taste buds that doesn't have to shy away from comparison with a "real" schnitzel and will probably also win over meat eaters.
