Brawl at carnival ball: woman (36) injured

There was an exuberant atmosphere and plenty of alcohol was flowing. But after midnight, things got serious at a fun carnival ball in Kössen in Tyrol. During an altercation between three young men, a 36-year-old woman was innocently caught in the middle.

According to the police, the incident took place in the event center in Kössen at around 1.30 am on Sunday night. The carnival ball was still going on when the argument between the three men escalated and fists started flying. Unfortunately for her, the 36-year-old woman and her companion were standing right next to the brawlers.

Several blows to the head
Apparently blinded by rage, one of the young men lashed out and struck her with his fist. The woman was hit several times in the head and then fell to the ground together with the attacker. The 36-year-old's companion pulled the angry man away from the victim. He got up and fled the scene. The seriously injured 36-year-old woman was left behind. She had to be taken to St. Johann Hospital. 

The investigations carried out by the police at the scene were negative. None of the guests still present were able to provide any further details about the attacker. Information should be sent to the Kössen police station on the following number: 059133/7207.
