Rossi assist! Minnesota back to winning ways

After two defeats, the Minnesota Wild returned to winning ways in the National Hockey League (NHL) on Tuesday (local time). 

Forward Marco Rossi played a decisive role in the 2:1 home win over Colorado after a penalty shootout. He provided the assist for the 1-0 lead through Mats Zuccarello (32nd), who, after tying the game at 1-1, also scored the decisive goal in the penalty shootout to end the opponent's six-game winning run.

With his 53rd scoring point this season, Rossi is second only to Michael Grabner in red-white-red NHL history. Only Thomas Vanek, who recorded 84 points as a forward for the Buffalo Sabres in the 2006-07 season, is ahead of the Vorarlberg native.
