Video streaming has become complicated: More and more services with an increasingly limited offering are vying for the favor (and subscription fees) of users. Users have to think all the more carefully about where they satisfy their entertainment needs - or whether they subscribe to two or more services at the same time, with compromises such as advertising.

The market composition, which was largely dominated by Netflix and Amazon in the early days of streaming, is now correspondingly diverse: Instead of two dominant providers, there are now three, in whose slipstream smaller providers have also been able to make considerable gains.
