Once again, because in the past few months there have already been a series of threats against schools and train stations in Upper Austria and elsewhere - the "Krone" reported.

On Wednesday, the Weberschule was the target of the threat. It was sent by email directly to the Upper Austrian state police directorate. The police then searched the entire building with several patrols, explosives experts and dogs. The all-clear was given at around 8.10 am, as the police confirmed to the "Krone" newspaper.

The primary school children were then able to start their lessons almost on time.

Bomb threats have repeatedly made the headlines in recent months. The series began in Upper Austria with a threat against the Akademisches Gymnasium, also in Linz. In October, a 20-year-old Swiss man was identified as being responsible for a series of bomb threats.

However, it is still completely unclear whether the latest alarm at the Weberschule is also attributable to the 20-year-old. Investigations into the case are ongoing.
