The two Styrian SPÖ grandees and trade union bosses Horst Schachner and Josef Muchitsch are disappointed with the Austrian People's Party after the coalition talks ended: they "played a game". In an interview with "Krone", they reveal how things actually went at the negotiating table in Vienna.

For the Social Democrats, the new year has begun as the old one ended: with bitter disappointment. After the Styrian Reds were kicked out of the castle and the state parliament, the SPÖ's participation in the federal government was also over at the end of last week. We asked two important union bosses, Horst Schachner and Josef Muchitsch, about the current situation.
