Next week, the Styrian FPÖ election winner Mario Kunasek wants to start coalition negotiations with his preferred partner for a new state government. We have weighed up the pros and cons of working with the ÖVP and SPÖ.

For the first time ever, the ÖVP could be thrown out of the Styrian state government. Christopher Drexler is supposed to prevent this. The provincial party executive has unanimously expressed its confidence in the incumbent governor to lead the government talks with the Freedom Party.
