All new again in Austria’s oldest brothel

Maxim in Steyr, Upper Austria, has been run as a brothel since 1477. A lot has happened in Badgasse 2 in almost 550 years. After a period of "dead pants" without a tenant, it is now bustling again. At the end of November, another chapter in the long history of the building will be opened. 

Another chapter is added to the long history of Austria's oldest brothel. After just one year, Przemyslaw Domanski turned his back on Maxim in Steyr and Christian Hofmann became the new tenant. Born in Wels, he is no stranger to the industry.
