Wind power can play an essential role in the fight against climate change. Thomas Beiser from Arlberg also believes this. The inventor presented his exciting idea at the iENA inventors' fair in Nuremberg: Let's hang wind turbines on ropes between mountains!

It all started with a sailing trip. Thomas Beiser was chugging along a natural canal in the sunshine and a gentle breeze. Suddenly an idea popped into the engineer's head: "You could see exactly how and where the actually weak wind was forcing its way between the cliffs through the waves on the surface of the water. I looked up and thought to myself that this would be the ideal place for wind turbines!"
