McDavid injured in Edmonton’s debacle

The Edmonton Oilers experienced a bitter evening in the North American ice hockey league NHL on Monday. Superstar Connor McDavid was injured 37 seconds into the game against the Columbus Blue Jackets, which ended in a 1:6 debacle.

McDavid traveled back to Edmonton, but it is questionable whether he will return for the away games in Nashville on Thursday and Calgary on Sunday.

In the home game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, the Winnipeg Jets were defeated for the first time this season. The Jets, who had started with eight wins, lost 4:6. Man of the match was Toronto rookie John Tavares with a hat trick.
