Netanyahu threatens: work is not yet done

Following the killing of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah by Israel, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has hinted at further strikes. The work is not done, there are challenging days ahead ... 

The killing of Nasrallah was a necessary, historic step towards changing the balance of power in the Middle East, Netanyahu said on Saturday evening.

Meanwhile, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant is holding talks on a possible expansion of the military offensive in the north of the country. An assessment of the situation is ongoing, his office explained.

Rocket from Yemen
In several areas in the center of Israel and in the coastal metropolis of Tel Aviv, rocket alarms have been triggered again. The warning sirens in Tel Aviv sounded in response to a missile from Yemen, according to the army. It was intercepted before reaching Israeli territory.

The Houthi militia in Yemen declared that it had attacked Ben-Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv with a ballistic missile. The militia would not hesitate to "raise the level of military escalation against Israel", continued Houthi military spokesman Yahya Sari. A ceasefire would only come into question if Israel ended its attacks in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.
