Skiers in Styria will have to dig deeper into their pockets again this winter, with prices already climbing towards 80 euros - see the price chart below for eight ski resorts, broken down into adults and children. The operators have their reasons for this.

Despite all the prophecies of doom, Wolfang Ambros' winter sports anthem is still the order of the day for tens of thousands of Styrians - for them, skiing is still the most fun thing imaginable. Not so long ago, the amount of money they will have to pay at the lift ticket office this winter was also unimaginable.
