Patriotism: what do you mean by it?

Patriotism is a term that is particularly popular on the right, as it stands for love of one's homeland. However, it should not be confused with nationalism. The latter implies the superiority of one's own nation while at the same time devaluing others. What do you personally associate with this term? Let us know in the comments!

Healthy patriotism is about appreciating the values and traditions of one's own country; in this respect, it can strengthen the cohesion of society. And every country has something it can be proud of or wants to preserve.
