151 km/h through tunnel

Young speeding driver (20) loses his probationary license

On Sunday night, a 20-year-old was speeding through the Hiefler tunnel on the Tauern highway in the direction of Villach at 151 km/h. The speed limit would have been 100 km/h. The speed limit would have been 100 km/h. A plainclothes patrol finally stopped the man from Pongau. The probationary driver's license is gone for the time being.

As the police found out, the young man was not only driving too fast, but also repeatedly failed to keep a safe distance from other vehicles despite the poor weather conditions.

The driver will be reported to the St. Johann police station.
