A space filling station where satellites and spaceships can fill up with solar energy. What sounds like science fiction could become reality in just a few years. A US company is planning to build the first interstellar energy network. Krone+ knows the details about "Star Catcher". 

The idea sounds futuristic: a network of satellites equipped with huge solar panels stores enormous amounts of solar energy in its batteries. Using wireless transmission, this "space filling station" (flight altitude: 1500 to 2000 kilometers) charges other satellites, space stations or spaceships in Earth orbit with new energy.
