Hit by a car: Cat thrown into radiator grille

At the weekend, a cat was hit by a car in Mautern in the district of Krems and thrown into its radiator grille. Florianis rescued the injured animal.

The Florianis from the Mautern volunteer fire department were alerted to an accident involving a cat on Sunday night. The velvet paw had been hit by a car and thrown into the car's radiator grille by the impact.

Two members of the fire department were eventually able to rescue the cat from its predicament. However, the animal was apparently seriously injured in the crash and had to be handed over to Krems Animal Rescue.
