From leisurely pleasure trails to challenging trips for professionals: 18 new cycle routes lead through the picturesque Wachau region.

Mountain biking fun on 588 kilometers in the middle of the Wachau! From now on, sports enthusiasts can burn off energy on 18 varied tours in the Wachau. The new routes wind their way through forests, vineyards and picturesque villages and, in addition to the existing routes - the Weinstein Tour and the Ranna route - offer a cycling experience with up to 18,807 meters of elevation gain.

With starting points in the municipalities of Spitz an der Donau, Mühldorf, Weißenkirchen, Weinzierl, Maria Laach, Aggsbach-Markt and Emmersdorf, the tours are also easily accessible by public transport. From Weiten and Raxendorf, bikers can discover the north side of the Jauerling.

Varied routes
There is something for everyone here in terms of difficulty levels! Those who prefer a more leisurely approach can explore the picturesque region on the Aggsbacher or Hubertusweg routes. The routes from Mieslingtal to the Buschandlwand or the Maria Laacher tour, on the other hand, offer pure action. All mountain bike tours lead back to the starting point.
