The political haggling in Klagenfurt has gained another facet: following a gagging order by the municipal council for Mayor Christian Scheider, the payment of various legal and consultancy fees in the dispute against former municipal director Peter Jost has been halted. Is that why he is bringing him back?

The case is probably unique: as soon as the legal and consultancy costs exceed 500 euros, the mayor of a city with a population of 100,000 has to ask his colleagues in the city senate for their approval. As he rarely gets this in view of the political situation, Scheider is currently up in the air with many costs. In the "Krone" interview, he therefore announces unexpected twists and turns.
