Magic at the party: the kids will love you!
Lights down, music on, dancing until dinner comes - children's parties used to follow a simple principle when I was a child. But that has been a thing of the past for a few years now: trampoline parks, magic shows, clown performances and much more are almost a must to keep the kids happy these days. Krone+ shows you how you can at least put on a magic show yourself.
I am not a magician. What's more, my belief in magic is as weak as my dexterity. And yet every year I fulfill my daughter's wish for a magic show at her birthday party. I stick to the popular motto: less is more. I do without expensive paraphernalia and an elaborate stage set. Even the top hat on the head is missing. What's the point? Rabbits don't follow my every word anyway.
Nevertheless, the magic show goes down well with the six to eight-year-old audience every year. Knowing that it won't be enough for the big stage in Las Vegas, I at least give my wife a few riddles to solve.
